We hosted our  2nd Annual My GI Foundation Car Show at Quaker Steak & Lube in June of 2016 and it was a spectacular day. Smyth Automotive again served as our sponsor for our awards and this was a beautiful sunny day with awesome cars and veterans everywhere. We were  amazed by the popularity of this event.

Last year we had a surprise sports memorabila auction and the bidders were very generous. This year the memorabila and the auction was very high end. Anthony Munoz was kind enough to donate items along with Boomer Esiason, Jim Tressel, Kellen Winslow, Steve Largent, Andrew Whitworth, Ickey Woods, Marvin Lewis, Troy Aikman, Michael Munoz, and Dave Parker. All proceeds were earmarked go to the Cincinnati VA for PTSD treatment and research .

Quaker Steak is so generous and helpful during the annual event. The staff really go out of their way to help promote the fundraiser experience. They donated raffle items and brought all My GI volunteers dinner.

We are going to try and hit Quaker Steak for a motorcycle event. Many of the bikers are very loyal veterans and we will  leave with some serious fundraising dollars.
