Colonel Folsom

Colonel John Folsom was gracious enough to align with the My GI Foundation in the form of a fiscal sponsorship. The Colonel saw a young man with opportunities to attend multiple service academies and senior military universities, who was nothing but humble and only wanted to serve his country.

The My GI Foundation purchased a brick as part of a massive fundraiser for the Atterbury-Bakalar Air Museum to transport the largest airplane to be displayed at the museum and the trip began in Wyoming prior to arriving in Indiana.

Colonel Folsom granted the My GI Foundation a grant that allowed My GI to partner with the NABVETS of Cincinnati to replace a United States Colored Troops (USCT) Cemetery.

Colonel Folsom started WWFS collecting money in a hat and has brought a 501 (c)(3) as far as possible.

Thanks Colonel!
