I am very proud to promote this beautiful and much apprecited gesture to honor our vets. Promoting this initiative is time-consuming, but well-received. School districts all fly the red, white, and blue and many have filled all their parking lots with a sign. Sycamore Schools, Kings Local Schools, Loveland City Schools, Batavia Local Schools, Little Miami Schools, Goshen Schools, Milford Schools, Mason City Schools, Forest Hills Local Schools, Lakota Schools, Deer Park City Schools, Cincinnati Public Schools, Lebanon City Schools, Norwood City Schools, Bethel-Tate Local Schools, Springboro City Schools, Finneytown Local Schools, and Archbishop McNicholas Parochial Schools are all on-board and this initiative continues to grow. The My GI Foundation will pay for signs for small businesses or corporate entities as well, so if you are interested please contact us.

The first locally owned business in Loveland to get a sign was, Aquarian Pools & Spas. They love their vets and their founder is also a veteran. Texas Roadhouse and Car-X are on-board. The Loveland American Legion also proudly displays two signs. Union Township has signs now and the Pioneer Cemetery in Cincinnati has two. We also recently made a new friend of the foundation in a local chapter of the Knights of Columbus.

Our freedoms and patriotism are very high right now and I am doing what I can to promote both. These signs are of real value to our wounded veterans and are a testimony to our veterans in general.

This is high on my priority list and I have many school districts to reach out to and with our tremendous success, I believe corporate Cincinnati will follow suit. We have delivered over 377 signs around Cincinnati.

The signs are the brain child of Colonel John D. Folsom (RET) US Marine Corps. There is a process to go through to be approved to host a sign, but Colonel Folsom knows I will place signs with those who honor our country and are proud of our veterans.

Our Director of Female Veteran Services, 17-year-old Kirstin Thomas, has accrued 1,000 volunteer hours in service to the My GI Foundation, Matthew :25 Ministries, and the Special Olympics. She is running the program now. Feel free to contact her at kirstin@mygivets.com for your free signs.

Thank You Senator

Senator Joe Uecker took me to lunch when I was fourteen to discuss high level military service and a career in government service. He is a regular speaker at My GI Foundation banquets and is always ready to lend a hand to support my philanthropy and service to veterans. He has represented the 14th District since 2013 as a Republican member of the Ohio Senate.
