Army Commander's Volunteer Public Service Award

In the spring of 2017, Connor Thomas was awarded The Army Commander's Award for Public Service. This is a medal awarded for outstanding work performed by American citizens on behalf of our military. Connor would not commission for two more years  that makes this award special. In this case, the award cited the specifics of Operation Winter Weather, in which My GI was able to partner with the Loveland High School National Honor Society to bring $7,190 of brand new winter gear to the homeless veterans representative of the Cincinnati VA.

The award language was also complimentary of the function and production of events with 100% volunteerism.
