Welcome to the American Veteran's Foundation known as The My GI Foundation. After ten years of raising tens of thousands of dollars for veterans, active military, reservists, retired veterans, disabled veterans, and their families, My GI forges ahead on in 2023. My GI was fortunate to be a fiscal sponsorship of the Association of the United States Army and the Wounded Warriors Family Support Foundation prior to becoming a successful 501 (c)(3). The financial help and mentoring has allowed My GI to flourish into a well-known Cincinnati organization military personnel can trust and seek assistance from. The My GI foundation was started by a patriotic fourteen-year-old and now this highly award-winning leader is a twenty-four-year-old Citadel Cum Laude graduate serving the Army as a young 1st Lieutenant. To all those who have served in the United States military and their families who have inspired the My GI Foundation, THANK YOU!

My GI Mission Statement

The purpose of the My GI Foundation is to provide veterans, active duty military, reservists, and their families with compassionate personal assistance for important or urgent issues in everyday areas of their lives, both financially and personally. Their needs become our needs.

Any and all donations to The My GI Foundation are always appreciated and liquidated just as fast. We work closely with veterans and their families in fiscal crisis, within the Cincinnati veteran community on necessary and rewarding projects, and continue to improve our veteran services each day by working with our successful corporate partners. 100% of all donations go back to the veteran community. Currently, we are in need of both personal and corporate donations for projects and requests we need to honor in 2024. The My GI Foundation is chiefly a volunteer foundation. We are 100% vested and our volunteers do not receive financial compensation. We have placed Combat Wounded Parking Signs in every school or school district in the Cincinnati area who has asked for one or one for every parking lot. Since 2017, we have worked closely with Cincinnati area high schools during Operation Winter Weather and fund-raised and awarded in-kind and monetary donations equaling substantial aid measured in tens of thousands of dollars.

Most of the veterans who benefit financially or otherwise from the My GI Foundation prefer to keep our philanthropic business private and such a request is always honored. They have wonderful stories you would appreciate, but their privacy needs are valued by My GI.

We have some interesting examples of service under My GI News & Events, but it is a small & select sample. 2018, 2019, and the first half of 2020 have been exceptional years for giving. The second half of 2021 and 2022 were much slower due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and current inflation in 2023 and 2024 is another daily challenge. We need immediate donations to fund 2024. My GI is prepared to serve financially and complete projects straight from the heart with every dollar we collect.
